This is a page to thank all the people and orginizations who've given us help or aided us in numerous ways in both making the website and the show. ZTV is really a large production, and without so many people making it possible we'd not be here today.

Help with the show...

First and foremost, we have to thank the Lyons family and the Tim Lyons Memorial Fund for making the show avialable. They've not only given money to us, but lots of their time and suggestions and encouragement. For those of you who don't know, a few years ago, ZTV was run by Tim Lyons, a student at Hackett who also had a film club at Community Access. Sadly, he died while in high school, leaving a void for many people. As a memorial, his family has kept his show going since then, and this so-called "second generation" of ZTV has been going on since 1996, with the first show, the Halloween Stories episode.

Community Access

We also have to thank the people down at Access who support us and teach us at every show. Our present instructor is Mark F. Monk, and he's really a swell guy. Bill O'Brien was the instructor for ZTV for several years before that. Bill's got his own production firm, Irish Hills Productions, which covers many fun public events. Before him, Matt Clysdale was the instructor of the show. He is still at Access and often continues to give helpful comments on the production. Nor can we forget Tim Lang, who has steered us clear of situations that could really get us in trouble, and for that we are able to continue without loads of copyright or censorship troubles.

With our eclectic nature in TV, we have also had numerous fans who have actually become stars on the show. We have to thank the numerous mouseketeers, bands, artists, dancers, and guests who have come to ZTV to liven it up with a variety of interesting acts and just other cool stuff. If you're one of these folks, we have to let you know how we appreciate it. If you're not, and you'd like to come down to ZTV, especially if you want to get involved on the show and are a high school student, visit here, and learn how you can get going on this great show.

Help with the website...

Ah, the site you're reading right now. Well, I've definitely got some shout-outs that need to be said, because, since November of 1998, this site has grown much and has required a lot of help. Fist of all, I need to thank JP Lohrstorfer and Matt Lohrstorfer. JP was a lot of help in the early days, getting me tapes to help me get shots from the show, and helping me write text for the site when it was really in its infancy. Matt has also helped me get lots of ZTV pictures, and has done a lot in pushing me to make new and exciting pages on the site. Presently, since both of them have moved on from the show, Ben McDonald has been pressing me to keep the site updated, and I really appreciate it.

Next I've got to thank everyone at Hackett in the early days for whining at me about the early user interface. If you never saw the original ZTV website, you're lucky. Although it did have a cool navagation bar, it had nearly no pictures, and it was really dull. In fact, up until August of 2000, some of the original HTML code was still hanging around the website, bloating it up pretty well and making it render funny in Netscape. Well, it's a lot cleaner now, and that's a good thing.

My Favorite Programs

As for products, well, I cover some of them on my little page, but here it goes again. For writing this unwieldy website, I use BBEdit and OmniWeb. And beyond text, for pictures and such I have to give it up for AppleWorks, which I used for a lot of the picture editing and encoding on the site. It's a swell product. And, lastly, I have to thank the people at cyberdog.org and iCab, which are both great sites that distribute two great web browsers.

Oh yeah...and I have to thank all of our viewers, both on the web and on the TV. Your comments have been valuable, even the stupid ones. Keep 'em coming.
